Sleepin' at Grammys....

Elijah is sleeping in the cradle my dad made for my son when he was born...lets see, in 1977!!   The cradle has been enjoyed by two of my children, nieces and nephews, and now here Elijah is sleeping in it!   Precious, precious memories.

I was very lonesome for my other three children today and my ChloeBean and Brooklyn James.   It was a cloudy dreary day outside as well!   We did enjoy Elijah and my youngest daughter and husband coming over today.

We will be having a rather quiet Easter....we will have no egg hunts!  We will be missing our three oldest children, Brooklyn and Chloe as well as our parents and siblings, nieces and nephews.   We will get to spend some time with Elijah Anthony.   (Oh, yea, and his parents!!)   HAVE A WONDERFUL BLESSED EASTER!!!

Time flies at times...and then I miss blogging.  But, I miss more following my favorite blogs.   I need to catch up this week on my reading them!   They are my salvation some days, my laughter, my time to reflect, thought provoking, and entertainment.   I need to catch up on them and soon!   I have spent the past two days in Kearney at the State Data Conference.   It has become more fun to go, and more applicable as I understand how it all works and ties together.  Plus, I got to see several of my friends that I have gotten to know over the past few years and made a couple new ones!   It is always good to be in the presence of great minds!  

One of my buddies from a small town and I even got interviewed for TV?   Scary, huh?   '

Ready to be put out to pasture???

Boy, this past few days, I have felt ready to be put out to pasture!   :-)   

I got a sore throat, sore ears earlier this week, and then felt better, and then a cough set in.   I can't be sick with a new grandson about to arrive!   The cough is annoying and much worse at night.   I may sleep in the recliner tonight!   On top of that, the crazy weather has my arthritis acting up....geepers!   My left thumb, lower back, and right knee are all screaming.  My knee is all funny looking and swollen.   Now, for the worst part...those of you who are young won't understand this, and I hope I am not offensive...but some of my blogging friends will....when you cough too much you end up "peeing" a little.  UGH!   Cough, cough, cough.   Thank goodness for poise pads.   Oh, yea, don't forget a zit that popped out too!    

So, I have felt like I was ready to be "put out to pasture" the last couple days!    I am sure the sunshine that is predicted this week will make everything better!!!   Thanks for reading....and, dont judge me!!! Ha ha!

Missing People....

I get lonesome for many people ... and miss them so much..  people I don't see often, people I love, people I haven't seen in a long, long time, people that are now angels, and, even people who are right here.  

Sometimes being alone isn't what makes a person lonely.   Sometimes you feel more alone when you are right there in ordinary life, with friends and family.  

Do you ever feel that way?   Do dreary skies increase that feeling?

Horoscope for Today????

Wow, I  wonder ... I have to "present" to teachers today...a little bit of training, nothing major, but I am already worried and freaking out....maybe this horoscope is a good sign?? I'll sure try that "positive" approach!
