Random Thoughts

I have random thoughts...do you? Sometimes when I am out walking, I think of strange things...like an old chant that I repeat over and over in my head that I used to teach the kids....(like when you march in the Army...)

Left, Left, Left, Right, Left~
Left, Left, Left, Right, Left~
I left my wife and 49 kids on the verge of starvation, without any gingerbread.
Left, Left, Left, Right, Left.

Try it...If you accentuate the words in Italics, and start on your left foot (and you should be on your left foot on each italicized word as well), you can do it. Why? I don't know. Where did I learn this? I don't know...It's just one of those things.

Other times I recite prayers in my head. Not just any prayer for the day or something that is bothering me, but the old memorized prayers...the Hail Mary, the Our Father, the Glory Be, and sometimes the Act of Contrition. Why? I don't know...anot
her one of those things.

I try to not think of stressful things, about work, about anything, just walk and enjoy it ...then these random thoughts come into my head.

Sometimes I follow those with "wandering" or "wondering" thoughts...like what is a mulberry? What does it taste like? I think my mom picked them when she was a
young girl.

I try to just walk, just enjoy the scenery, shut off my mind...but then it star
ts to wander...and wonder.

When I run I recite "Run, Run, Shake those buns and Run." It goes well with my pace. Love you!
