Boy, this past few days, I have felt ready to be put out to pasture! :-)
I got a sore throat, sore ears earlier this week, and then felt better, and then a cough set in. I can't be sick with a new grandson about to arrive! The cough is annoying and much worse at night. I may sleep in the recliner tonight! On top of that, the crazy weather has my arthritis acting up....geepers! My left thumb, lower back, and right knee are all screaming. My knee is all funny looking and swollen. Now, for the worst part...those of you who are young won't understand this, and I hope I am not offensive...but some of my blogging friends will....when you cough too much you end up "peeing" a little. UGH! Cough, cough, cough. Thank goodness for poise pads. Oh, yea, don't forget a zit that popped out too!
So, I have felt like I was ready to be "put out to pasture" the last couple days! I am sure the sunshine that is predicted this week will make everything better!!! Thanks for reading....and, dont judge me!!! Ha ha!

Feel better soon!!!! Lots of hot tea with honey. I have a recipe for chronic cough I am going to send you and Chrissy! It is AWFULl but will cure you. Something with apple cider vinegar, cumin, and honey....I will send out asap!!!
Okay so a little off with the cumin, but here is the recipe:
It soothes an irritated throat and relieves chest congestion and phlegm. The bad news: it tastes terrible -- it really does -- but if you have a persistant cough, it's worth a try.
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
1 Tablespoon honey
1 Tablespoon apple cider vinegar
2 Tablespoons water
Mix and take by the teaspoon.
The recipe doesn't indicate how much to take. I took 3 teaspoons the first time because I had a bad dry cough for over three weeks, and I was desparate for some relief. It worked and I got a good night's sleep. I have been recommending it to others ever since, and many have confirmed my positive results.
Oh my, you are a mess! I hope the cough recipe helps and oh yeah, I so understand the pee thing...cough,cough,laugh,snort!
