the iPhone

Well, I hope Lauren over at Mental Pause Mama will be happy...I have an iPhone.  Finally.   Not that I didn't like my Droid.  I did.   I also used to like my blackberry, too.

And, I was a hold-out on the iPhone.  I was determined to keep and android phone of some sort.  I faithfully waited and waited on the new Droid Bionic.

But, they PULLED it...and don't know when they will issue it.  So, a few weeks ago, I got an iPhone.   I do like it.  I like that it runs the same way as an iPad or iPod, so you can kinda keep everything uniform.   There have been a couple things I don't like.  But nothing major.  Partly just adjusting, and partly finding the perfect apps.

So, I guess I am now a true convert from the PC world to everything Mac?   Who'd'a thunk it?

I am glad that you have become a "convert"!! You have really learned a lot about all of those "gadgets"!! No one is more deserving than you!! I just heard from Jean that she ordered an iPhone yesterday, so I will be the last to get one, but will at some point when my Droid dies. I am like you, I have loved my Droid and my Blackberry. I have no doubt that I will LOVE an iPhone! I will have to be patient, but am anxious to make the switch!! You are always the trail blazer for all of us! As always, you are a wonderful resource!

I just don't know, at age 61, if I can "get" the smart phones. I can barely do my flip phone and wouldn't know how to text if a gun were held to my head. Good for you. Maybe someday, I'll learn.
