Hot?

I think we can all agree that this summer has been 

Funny, I remember when I was in high school and would slather in oil and lay out in the sun with the intent to "tan".  Of course, I never did tan.  But I would burn.  Then, I'd peel.  Then, I'd be pale as ever after that.  

Then, I'd repeat the process. 

Dumb.

Now, I must be getting old...no point in suffering in the heat.   However, I have been feeling sad that it is almost impossible to get out even in the evenings for a walk or bike ride...it is just miserable out!   Many, many days of over 100 degree weather is wearing thin on people.  
And, my flowers/plants?   Dead.
