My daughter, Crystal has been begging for posole for a while now....but I told her I wouldn't make it until someone else was here to eat it besides us. So, I made it today while her brother is here, as he likes it too.
Crystal helped me make the tortillas.
Nothing smells better than when you cook tortillas! Come on over....it's nice and warm and yummy.

What on Earth is posole? Please give tutorial!
Posole is a hearty Mexican soup with pork and hominy.
Cut up a pork roast, brown the meat in a skillet. (Brown some chopped onions too, first.) Squirt fresh lime juice on the meat. Then, put the meat in a big stock pot, with plenty of water, and I added two large cans of hominy. I used the Juanita brand mexcian hominy. You can cook the hominy, but why not just open a can...ha! Add New Mexico red chili, garlic salt, salt and oregano to taste. Simmer a long while. Scoop off any foam. Serve with chopped onions, fresh oregano and limes. (And, fresh, hot tortillas).
Wow. Those tortillas actually look round and perfect! yummy.
