I totally have to agree with Fran Lebowitz!!! Of course, one reason I became a Speech Pathologist is because I only had to take one college math course. (true story)
I may agree to a point but I think one course of Algebra doesn't hurt. I guess the best way I can answer is: I am giving kids the opportunity to learn and then decide what direction they want to go with their lives.
