Sunday Thoughts

Here's hoping you all had a great Sunday!

My horoscope today:
It's a good day for you to try to spend some time alone and do a little thoughtful soul-searching if you can. But you'll have to spend some time and energy on the needs of others today as well. You should be highly intuitive at the moment, and you ought to pay attention to your dreams for some important clues on how to handle everything.

If friends, family and partners all expect you to sacrifice your time and energy to focus on their needs today, just try not to let yourself get locked in to too many commitments or be taken advantage of in any way. Mantra: My belief in myself will empower me.

Well, I LOVE the Mantra.

We had a nice Sunday and hubby enjoyed the calls from all the kids, the visit from Elijah (and his parents) and the day with Brooklyn and me.   I did some work for my job this afternoon, along with household chores that were not finished up yesterday.  We ended the day calling our parents, which always is a highlight of the day! and then, a movie...(Brooklyn was watching a favorite movie of his own).  We watched "Buried" with Ryan Reynolds.  As much as I love Ryan Reynolds, I just did NOT enjoy the movie.

Storyline

Waking groggy in pitch darkness, Paul Conroy, an American truck driver working in Iraq in 2006, slowly realizes he is trapped inside a wooden coffin, buried alive. With his cigarette lighter, he can see the trap he is in, and he quickly realizes that there's not enough air for him to live long. He finds within the coffin a working cellphone, which allows him contact with the outside world. But the outside world proves not to be very helpful at finding a man buried in a box in the middle of the Iraqi desert. Paul must rely on his best resource--himself.

One of the reviews said it had a "brave" ending.  That is one thing I DO agree with.

Good night, bloggies.
