I tell you, I am the forgetful dwarf (remember the 7 Dwarfs of Menopause?)
I tried the Curel lotion that I wrote about in a recent post. I guess it works ok. Using it does help with the itchy crawlies---and helps with dry skin. As for some other menopausal symptoms such as crankiness to the heat and impatient (sometimes even hostile) feelings towards spouse and others----well, it doesn't help that. But, sometimes a glass of wine (or two) does.
It says it combats the three symptoms of menopausal skin: itchiness, dryness and loss of elasticity. Hey, it is worth a try, and you can get a free sample by going to their site. I sure signed up for my free sample. I'll let you know what I think!

At one point, she was cleaning in her bra because she was so hot...and her poor brother had to deal with loads of menopausal symptoms. Here is a synopsis of the episode:

Today I am back in the tired mode. Did my usual toss/turn/ flip/ sigh/etc last night, just like in my post a couple days ago. Friday night I took a couple Advil PM. I didn't go to sleep very quickly, but I was sleeping pretty darned good come 5:30 am. Saturday morning! The alarm went off, my husband was going to work overtime that day. Being the good wife, I got up a bit before he left, fed the dogs, etc. Then, went back to bed. He was out scraping his windshield. All of a sudden, he was yelling "HEY". I jumped and screamed. He said..I have been trying to tell you I am taking your truck, I broke my windshield wiper. Man, I jumped...I must have been really sound asleep when he tried to talk to me. That was strange, considering I had been up and around not even five minutes earlier....yikes! Then, I fell back asleep, which was strange after being startled, and slept clear until 8:30...wow. I had a hair appointment, and was groggy all thru that. So, maybe it took like twelve hours for my Advil PM to take effect, or I was just really tired? Last night, didn't have any more, so didnt' take any...so just still tired. It is really cold out, and sleep sounds so inviting....
